Hi, my name is Guy Heng Heng! You have all heard about lady luck, how about guy luck? If ladies can win, so can we! In gambling, nothing is impossible!

My first gambling trip

My best friend who was a casino dealer, taught me what the casino was all about and their games. Before that I did not gamble in casinos at all. Only played lottery once in a while, but did not have much luck either.

After I started learning about the games and their rules, I suddenly felt the urge to play at the casinos for real. So the first place I went to was gambling at one of the cruise ships in Singapore.

Usually as a first timer, you would tend to win in gambling. That was what they called “beginner luck” and so I won. After being exposed to playing at table games, I completely gave up on lottery betting.

Lottery winnings only happen to the miserable few out of the millions. I trust table games more, the outcome is instant, you either win or lose and you can set a limit to how much to win or to lose.

My gambling findings

As time goes by, I begin to realise winning in gambling is not always an easy task, there are many factors that will affect the outcome of the game; luck, surroundings, people, fengshui, the gambling place and many more.

I have witnessed many gamblers’ downfall, from being a high roller to being a small bettor. This is sad, but that is life. Seeing all those misery has brought my life purpose to a higher level, it inspires me to make gambling my life’s work, a dream to become a professional gambler. Gambling is an art, and there are unlimited possibilities in it for me to explore.

Gambling Superstition (Part IV)

The gambling superstition continued.. More on casino superstition.

Superstition on players placing chips on top of your bet

Do not allow players to place chips on top of your bet, especially if their chips are below minimum table limit and you are the one viewing the cards. A very high chance you will lose the game as they override your luck. You become unlucky.

Superstition on players exchanging their program chips for your cash chips

If you are playing chips program (non cash refundable), and someone wants to leave the casino and ask if he can change his chips program for your cash chips, do not accept his offer. Even if he offer to pay u more, no!!

Out of kindness I accepted two offers from a guy and the other from an old lady. I lost straight after that and my gambling luck suddenly went on a losing streak. Unless you think you have a lot of money to lose, do not try it. Kindness does not work that well in gambling.

Superstition on dropping of chips on the ground

If you drop any chips or see any players drop their chips on the ground, skip that round. Very likely that player or yourself will lose that particular game. I do not believe this superstition at first, but I’m one of them.

Superstition on dropping of chips into the ash tray with cigarette ash inside

If you or any players drop chips into the ash tray with cigarette ash inside, its almost guaranteed the player or yourself will lose the game.

Superstition on unexpected things will occur

Sometimes when you keep winning or a particular table with many players winning, unexpected things will happen; like the monitor screen went off and restart program, 1-6 machine suddenly went out of order. Do not play anymore! The luck will change for the worst. More than likely, the casino fengshui is trying to reverse the luck.

Believe it or not, superstition will always happen in the casino every minute and every second. How you interpret the superstition and deal with it will either make you a big time winner or loser.
